AcerMetric Ltd

AcerMetric Limited are an engineering design company who have created ‘The AcerMetric Versatile Flat Pack Frameless Building System’ which enables a significant range of accommodation to be built by unskilled labour quickly and economically.

The unique build offsite manufacture enables an almost infinite style and size of sustainable energy-efficient build to be constructed using one simple hand tool onsite.

The versatility of the system covers a broad spectrum of the construction market and can therefore be sub-divided into many different business models ranging from a simple garden office to a bespoke architecturally designed house to a multi-storey block of flats.

We believe the AcerMetric System will produce savings of up to 50% on material costs and 80% on labour costs compared to traditional building methods.

BAA

As air travel becomes more popular, our airports need to develop and improve facilities to match these demands. Over the next ten years we plan to invest about £9.5 billion at our three London airports. At the same time, we aim to invest a further £200 million in our three Scottish airports and Southampton Airport.
Our biggest investments include:

Britspace Modular Buildings Limited

Britspace is a leading UK provider of quality steel framed modular buildings ideally suitable for the hotel, student and key worker, residential and the secure accommodation markets.

We manufacture 'three dimensional' volumetric modules, which enclose a usable space and form the structure itself. The steel framed building modules are then transported to site by road where they are craned into position to form a complete building. Traditionally, prefabricated building / modular construction has been viewed as having limited usage due to its production line techniques. Because Britspace doesn’t have standard modular sizes or finishes, we can offer client-led bespoke solutions, which is quite unique in modular construction.

Our modular building system is not merely limited to small cellular spaces. It is ideal for extensions, stand alone buildings or elements of extremely large projects, as we can offer clear spans in excess of 12 metres and can build up to 20 storeys tall. With the Britspace modular building solution, large open plan spaces in multi-storey buildings is a reality. In addition, Britspace has British Board of Agrément (BBA) accreditation for a 60-year structural design life, which confirms that ours is a permanent building solution.
